Disney ‘Blocked’ Johnny Depp From Making Cameo As Captain Jack Sparrow

It hasn’t been a few weeks since Depp has ‘resigned’ (read: fired) from Warner Bros. for his role as Grindelwald in ‘Fantastic Beasts,’ Disney is next to choose to cut off ties with Johnny Depp. The 57-year-old actor has been fighting a series of legal suits against Amber Heard for defamation, but ultimately, domestic violence claims.

The most recent news is that Disney won’t have the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise allow a cameo appearance of Captain Jack Sparrow that has always been acted by Johnny Depp. It was executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer’s idea to bring back the man to reprise his role in a new installment of the legendary series, but Disney has voiced their disapproval. Currently, it is rumored that the new movie will feature a female-lead, possibly starring Margott Robbie.

Both Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have been suing each other for domestic violence with Depp losing to a libel suit recently. This has not the same meaning as the judge’s claim of him for being a ‘wife beater’ to be true. In fact, further evidence that surfaced had clearly shown that Amber Heard was a perpetrator, with her unable to deny those claims during trial.

Johnny Depp has lost several big roles due to this case while Amber Heard is still keeping her role as Mera in ‘Aquaman.’

For more than 10 years, Johnny Depp has acted as Captain Jack Sparrow in the series.

Jerry Bruckheimer has been one of Depp’s biggest supporter and tried hard to bring him back on board for the franchise. But Disney continues to refuse to bring Depp back, despite millions of signatures around the world demanding his return in the show.

There is also a petition asking Mera’s actress to be replaced in the subsequent ‘Aquaman’ installment. Over 1.7 million people have signed; however, WB has not commented on the petition.

Previously, Depp has also admitted to an alleged text message he exchanged with his sister Christi Dembrowski where he mentions his wish to see Amber Heard removed from WB. When inquired further, he said that it was in reference to her role in ‘Aquaman’ back in 2018.

This news broke after the petition to request Amber Heard to be fired from ‘Aquaman’ went viral and reached over a million signs.

The ruling has it that Depp may have domestically abused Heard, but a leaked recorded conversation of the two suggested that it was Amber instead that had instigated the physical fights

Johnny Depp has continued to pursue against the ruling of High Court that he had hit his wife through the Court of Appeal which says he’s been doing drugs. Amber Heard dismissed any rumors saying she won’t be recast but the floating rumor that she’s been canceled continues around social media.
