Keanu Reeves is back with an infinite heart. Of course, wealth makes it easier to spend money on gifts, but even for Alistair, Keanu is different when it comes to gratitude.
The 57-year-old made headlines after packing a box of Rolex Submariner for the four-man stunt team he worked with on John Wick 4. A group of five was caught having a delicious dinner at Le Bistro Paul Bert in Paris.
One piece of Submariner costs S$11,190. The model Keanu received was the Submariner Date, which was slightly more expensive than the original design.
The back is decorated with captions commemorating the end of filming and the names of each stunt team. Participants included Bruce Lee Concepcion, Jeremy Marinas, Dave Camarillo and Li Qiang, each with their names engraved on the back.
After the name Jeremy, ‘thank you’, ‘keanu’ and ‘JW4’ are added to mark the year 2021. They also shared photos of five people wearing the same watch.
Reeves previously did this trick with his stunt team in Matrix Reloaded in 2003.
He had previously purchased a team of 12 motorcycle stuntmen Harvey. When the Seattle PostIntelligent interviewed him, the actor said, “We were all in this business and we trained together beforehand. I was just … this guy who helped make this movie one of the greatest fights in cinematic history. I just wanted to thank everyone.”
