Who says wishes can’t become a reality? A homeless couple from Pampanga Province, the Philippines, has always desired to get married since they met 24 years ago, but they’ve been faced with a tough life, focusing on getting enough to eat daily.

For several years, Rosalyn Ferrer, 50, and Rommel Basco, 55, reside in a small shack in an empty patch of wasteland with six children; hence the dream of having a wedding wasn’t a thing that could be afforded.

Fortunately, Richard Strandz and his friends help give the couple a surprise makeover and wedding.

‘I found out about how the two have been living together for more than two decades but can’t afford a small wedding.’

For the photoshoot taken on February 13th before Valentine’s Day, Rosalyn donned a white wedding gown while Rommel donned a Barong Tagalog Suit.

Richard has helped the couple process the papers for their marriage license and plans to fund their church wedding later this year.

‘I once dreamed of having a white wedding, but that was when I was a little girl. It went out of my mind long ago. We never had enough money, and we concentrated on getting enough food to eat each day. Now I feel so blessed that it has happened. I am so thankful.’ Rosalyn, according to Daily Mail, said.
