Hulk, whose real name is Givanildo Vieira de Sousa, has announced that he and his wife, Camila Sousa, are expecting a baby. The 35-year-old Atletico Mineiro’s striker took to Instagram to share an ultrasound picture of their baby.
“Today with a heart full of gratitude to God, I come to share with you that for the fourth time I am being blessed with another child,” he wrote on Instagram.
“My heart overflows with so much happiness, and I can only say thank you, God. We are already looking forward to receiving your child, and we love you unconditionally. Come full of health, my baby.”
Hulk marries Camila Sousa, who is also his ex-wife’s niece, in September 2020. Just a little over a year ago, he split up from ex-wife Iran to whom he was married for 12 years.
Rumors of them together surfaced less than half a year later.
Hulk’s spokesperson later shared that he “told the truth” to Camila’s family members and “made the information public” because he didn’t have anything to hide. They added, “His position is transparency, and he wants to avoid lies and malicious comments.”
Hulk denies that he ever had an affair before their divorce.
The man simply said that he wasn’t happy with his marriage and added, “I had countless reasons. I spent my entire marriage betraying Iran. She lived a single life. She just wanted to have the status of wife of the Hulk.”
“Camila came to China. I don’t think I’m an ugly person, and I’m young. Camila is young and extremely beautiful. We ended up getting involved. We were single.”
His wife, however, also expressed her disappointment through UOL columnist Leo Dias, “It is deeply regretted that Mr. Hulk, not content with ending a marriage of more than 12 years, he then did not respect the pain of the one who always devoted love, affection, respect, and consideration to him – as well as his children, whose supreme interests should be preserved by their father.”
